Robert Joseph Rath, Sr.

Robert Joseph Rath, Sr. also known as "Bob" of Cadet was born on August 11, 1932, in St. Louis, a son to the late Joseph Anthony and Dorothy Marie (Meyer) Rath. Robert passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Bob was a simple man. He enjoyed hunting, ATV riding and most recently watching westerns.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his five children, Connie Warden (husband, Tom), Karen Warden, Carol Belfield (husband Don), Jody Missey (husband, Ron), and Janet Hayes (husband, Allen). Bob also leaves behind a host of dear grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann (Roscoe) Rath; two sons, Robert Rath Jr. and Michael Rath; son-in-law Bobbie Warden; grandson Derek Joseph Hayes; and sister Betty Jane Dowling.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.
