Can You Survive The 0.1K on Sat.?
The Washington County Chamber of Commerce has planned a ‘pop up’ fun run that won’t take you but a minute - or three.
The idea is a demanding 0.1K ‘run’ that will be hosted on North Missouri Street on Saturday, Nov. 26th, 2022 at approximately 9:30 a.m. Pre-registration is being done now - sign up and get your one of a kind shirt!
Participants can sign up starting at 9 a.m. on the event day - Saturday.
The event is to highlight ‘small town businesses’ and the Small Business Saturday that is promoted nationwide. After ‘Black Friday’ everyone needs a little fun and a chance to slow down!
How far is a 0.1K? 368’, it measures from the front of the St. James Catholic Church to the front door of the Courthouse on North Missouri Street!
Come join in the ‘Sprint For Small Business’ 0.1K that is being held - just for fun! Purcell Tire & Service Centers is the corporate sponsor for the morning event. There’s no prizes for first - or last, it’s just for fun.
There’ll be fun for all ages, probably some food and several photo ‘opportunities’.
Registration is $15 and the Chamber needs your shirt size! Shirt quantities may be limited, don’t wait.
Look for the registration form on line, in the paper and at shops downtown. Have fun and shop small!
