Carol Ballard
Carol Madeline Ballard of Potosi was born March 1, 1945 in Cadet, a daughter to the late Sam Thomas Boyer and Lucy Julie (Pashia) Boyer. Carol departed this life Monday, October 17, 2022 having reached the age of 77 years, 7 months and 16 days.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Brock Ballard and wife Crystal of Bismarck; daughter, Calissa “Pooh” Ballard of St. Louis; grandchildren, Zachary, Darby (Eric Knapp), Kelsey, Sharlota; great grandchildren, Aiden, Corbin, Aleah, Nora; sisters, Becky Boyer of Potosi, Geri Pratt and husband Bill of Newport, Arkansas, Kathie Belfield of St. Louis; brothers, Kenny Boyer and wife Pat of Potosi, Richard “Chopper” Boyer and wife Barb of Cadet; sisters-in-law, Robin Boyer of Potosi, Charlotte Boyer of Farmington, Mary Sue Boyer of Terre du Lac, in addition to many nieces, nephews, and a host of extended relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sisters, Benita Coleman, Anna Lee Johnson, Judy Boyer, Norma Jean Boyer and brothers, Tom “Yogi” Boyer, Donald Boyer and Billy Joe Boyer.
Carol loved to have fun and lived every day to its fullest. Her motto was “If you’re always trying to be normal, you will never know how fun life can be”. She kept those she loved in her thoughts and prayers, always seeing the good in people. Her memory will be greatly treasured by those she loved.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 at 3 P.M. at the New Masonic Cemetery in Potosi.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
