CITY OF POTOSI RESOLUTION HONORED McCAUL

On Wednesday, Aug. 17th, 2022, Mayor Joe Blount and Collector Angie King presented a Resolution recognizing the achievements of Miss Annie McCaul during the 2021-2022 Potosi High School Track Season and her graduation. Miss McCaul was recognized, in part, as being the first female athlete to win a State High School Championship Title in any sport, individual or team for Potosi High School. McCaul set several Potosi school records on her way to winning second in the 100 Meter Hurdles and winning the State Championship in the 300 Meter Hurdles. Miss McCaul also was picked for The KTJJ Dream Team for Track twice and was the radio’s Dream Team ‘Track Athlete of the Year’ as well as the Daily Journal’s ‘Parkland Athlete of the Year for Track’. She accomplished winning her accolades with maintaining a 4.1 grade point average over her four years of high school. Congratulations are in order!
