JayCee Dental and Miracle Marine plan to move to the Washington County Industrial Park in a new building that is projected for 6 to 8 month turn-around on building. JayCee Dental is now located at the South Town complex on Highway 21 South. Great Mines has purchased the complex and JayCee Dental has been working with the Industrial Development Authority to expand both service, manufacturing and training for the dental service business. Miracle Marine has been at one of the Silvey Egg Plant buildings on Highway E for some time, the opportunity for the boat manufacturer to move to the Industrial Park with a new building will allow M2 to improve and increase production with expanded work in the plant that had been previously ‘contracted out’. Above, the group gathered at the Washington County Industrial Park for the ceremonial groundbreaking on Monday morning, July 18th, 2022 with the plans for the new building at the site. The building project is a cooperative effort between the I.D.A., County and JayCee Dental and Miracle Marine. The building will allow for job growth with both companies as well as modernization and technology upgrades. The Industrial Development Authority plans to use part of the building as office space as well as having an office for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and the Missouri Jobs office. The ‘foot print’ for the building is on the North side of the current spec building and will be on the West side of Industrial Drive. This project is another example of the benefit of the 1/2 cent sales tax that helps fund business and job growth in the County. The new tenants are looking forward to the possibilities that this move will make available for their businesses to grow and expand. (Not pictured were Fran Pashia & Chris Farrell, I.D.A.)
