Nadine White of Potosi was born on February 15, 1940, in Toledo, Illinois, a daughter of the late Howard Smith and Wilma Lee (Frost) Romano. Nadine went to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 16, 2022, having reached the age of eighty-two years, four months, and one day.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her children, Delores Myers, Jeannette (Terry) Rardin, Angel Dallas and Shawn Williams, Johnny (Sharon) White, and Lisa (Shelby) Gilbert; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; siblings, Maxine (Daniel) Sparling, Helen (Frasier) Sterling, and Allen (Susan) Smith; special niece and nephew, Tammy and Jeff Reed. Nadine is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nadine was preceded in death by her father, Howard Smith; mother and stepfather, Wilma and Frank Romano; first husband, John Harper; second husband, Ronnie Lee Dallas; third husband, John White; children, Evadine Harper, Jackie Dale Harper, Arvetta Hope Dallas; infant siblings, Richard Howard Smith, Michael Lee Smith, Thelma Jane Smith.

Visitation was Friday, June 24th from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home.

A funeral service followed the visitation at 1 p.m., officiated by Pastor Sheldon Marler. Interment was held the following day on Saturday, June 25th at Liberty Cemetery in Charleston, Illinois at 2 pm.
