Gloria Jean Davis
Gloria Jean Davis was born in Chicago on December 14, 1941, a daughter to Bernice (nee Kilbourn) and Thomas A. Williams, Sr. She died at her Cadet home surrounded by her family on June 17, 2022 at the age of 80. Gloria enjoyed traveling, boating and fishing. She built a welcoming home and loved nothing more than being with her family. She is survived by her children, Bonnie (the late Rick Brooks) Davis, DeSoto; Terry (Betty) Davis, Sullivan; Debra (George) Wockenfuss, Cadet; Michael Davis, Cadet; David (Kennetha) Davis, DeSoto; Patricia Davis, Cadet; Katherine Davis, Cadet; Robert (Chassidy) Davis, Cadet; Eugene W. Davis, Jr., Cadet; Julia Davis, Cadet and Nicole Davis, Cadet; seventeen grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and two brothers, Gary (Judy) Williams, Lady Lake, Florida and Bill (the late Carol) Williams, Chicago. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eugene W. “Hun” Davis, Sr.; two sisters, Arlene (the late Richard) Bueche and Mary (the late Vern) Mullennix and two brothers, Thomas (the late Darlene) Williams, Sr. and Robert Williams.
Visitation was held Tuesday, June 21st from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home
Service was held Wednesday, June 22nd at 11 a.m. at the Dietrich-Mothershead Chapel. Interment followed at Davis Family Cemetery, Cadet.
