Boyer & Coleman Made Some New Potosi History Last Week
Dylan Coleman made it to the mound at Busch Stadium in St. Louis last week to pitch for the Royals as they faced the Cardinals on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022. Jeremy Boyer got to sneak in a little of the ‘Trojan Fight Song’ as Coleman was pitching.
Jeremy’s wife, Cassie, posted on social media - ‘What an amazing night for Potosi, Mo.! I’m going to bet there has NEVER been a time when a pitcher from an opposing team got the hear his high school (HS) fight song while he was pitching because someone from his high school was playing the organ for the game! Great job Dylan Coleman and Jeremy A. Boyer for making your hometown SO PROUD!!!’
And proud it is, with literally hundreds of people making it to the baseball game and more watching on television and listening to the radio, with Coleman’s family and many, many friends celebrating his appearance at Busch.
Both young men have worked their tails off to get where they are - a professional organist and a professional baseball player - and both Trojans!
Congratulations to these guys and their families who can be proud of their accomplishments - so far!
Best of luck to both as they go on in their careers.
Coleman is coming out of the bullpen for the Royals in Kansas City and throwing in ‘triple digits’. He is playing out his biggest dreams on the diamond in the Major Leagues. A blessing for sure!
Boyer plays the organ for the Cardinals and the Blues and is supporting the Blue Notes as they head into the playoffs. Let’s Go Blues!
Couldn’t be prouder or happier for you gentlemen!
