Linda June Harter

Linda June Harter of Warrenton, MO, was born on October 15, 1949, in Palmer, MO, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Hazel (Martin) Nipper. Linda passed away on March 3, 2022, having reached the age of seventy-two years, four months, and sixteen days.

On July 15, 1967, Linda was united in marriage to Harry Harter, and they spent over 54 years together.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband, Harry Harter; children: Dawnetta Harter, Letta Smith (husband, Jerry), Darrick Harter (wife, Heather); grandchildren: Justin Smith (wife, Laura), Larissa Smith, Kaitlynn Wharton (husband, Cloud), Peyton Benfield, Andrew Daly, Anthony Harter, Aiden Harter; great-grandchildren: Arianna, Morgan; siblings: Doris Lawson, Shirley Gray (husband, Ardell), Cathy James (husband, Ed), Larry Nipper (wife, Colleen), Bob Nipper (wife, Carlene); sister-in-law, CeAnn Nipper, and many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings: Alvin Nipper (wife, Ruth Ann), Bonnie Senter (husband, Bob), and Bill Nipper.

A Visitation was held on Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation continued Monday, March 7, 2022, from 9 to 11 am.

A Funeral Service was conducted on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 11 am, officiated by Pastor Jim Ainley. Interment followed at Palmer Cemetery.
