On November 25, 1989, Rick was united in marriage to Mary Isabel (Arnold) Rill and they shared many adventures and 32 years together.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Mary Rill; son, Zen Rill and wife Tammy of Washington, Connecticut; daughter, Mackenzie Conner of St. Louis; sister, Kathy Gallop and husband Steven of Sullivan; brother, John and Bonnie Rill of DeSoto; grandchildren, Delia and Eliza Rill in addition to many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

What can be said about “Ricky Rat” and to some of us..."Pops". He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, brother to brother and sisterhood. Each and every one of us was his life line as he was to us. He was definitely one of a kind. He loved his family and friends, and loved making memories with all of us, enjoying the moment and life.

He was very strong willed, open minded, extremely out spoken and never held anything back. He told you exactly what he thought. You listened, even if you didn't wanna hear it. Because we all know he was right, he either loved you or he didn't. He had a heart of gold and was full of life, living to the fullest.

He loved helping others. He would be there for you day or night. He was there to talk, to listen, laugh or cry, no matter what, he was there. He has helped so many of us with his arms wide open. He took us in as a family, as his kid, or grandkid, or as his brother or sister. He loved us all.
He loved the road, he loved his bike, he loved the freedom of the wind and going down those long stretches of highway and just letting loose, being in that moment. He loved working on bikes, teaching others and sharing all his knowledge. He lived his life by the code Honor, Respect, Loyalty and Love.

He loved reenactments and that he and Mary shared so many amazing moments and memories. He loved dressing and acting the part, teaching the younger generation about history, and much more.

He loved deer season. He loved his guitar and to sing. He was amazing. He love to camp. It didn't matter if it was a bike camp, a reenactment camp, deer camp or just camping. He loved being with family and friends. Having a cold one and telling stories and enjoying life.

He had a hard battle to fight and he fought hard. He loved life and he loved everyone.
