Nora Nethington

Nora Nethington of Potosi was born March 20, 1947 in Saint Clair, a daughter to the late William Thomas DeClue and Gladys Marie (Keen) DeClue. Nora departed this life Saturday, January 8, 2022 having reached the age 74 years, 9 months and 19 days.
Nora is survived by her daughters, Amy Pope, Henrietta Jean Porter; sons, William David Nethington V, Floyd Linn Nethington, Bob Lee Nethington; sisters, Fern Linhorst, Zona Martin, Carolyn Courtway; brother, Gary Dean DeClue; 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her daughters, Lotus Michelle Brown, Earlene Nethington and brothers, Billy Joe DeClue and William David DeClue.
Nora had a loving heart and kept those she loved in her thoughts and prayers. She loved to talk on the phone with friends and kept a unique collection of dolls. She had a big sweet tooth and had many favorite baked goods. Spending time with her family was precious to her and she will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
