Bobby Glen Dobbs

Bobby Glen Dobbs of Mineral Point was born in Old Mines on September 11, 1971, a son of the late Raymond Edward Dobbs and Virginia Mae Courtway. Bobby passed away on January 11, 2022, having reached the age of fifty years, and four months.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his children, Keith Dobbs, Matt Dobbs and Ronnie Dobbs; grandchildren, Nathan, Sophia, Owens, and Zoe Dobbs; siblings, James Bourbon, Esther Bourbon, Darlene Richards (husband, Don), Tammy Dobbs (Daniel Vance), Linda Dobbs, Janet Wren and David Skaggs, Clifford "Rocky" Dobbs, Linda Courtaway (husband, Tim), Larry Dobbs (wife, Connie), and Shirley Dobbs Stevens; brother-in-law, Sheldon Wren; sister-in-law, Kim Dobbs; best friend who was like a brother, David Skaggs; and best friend, Iva Kemper. Bobby was also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Special friends Bobby and Tammy Lee who gave their love, compassion, and support to Bobby throughout the years.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his siblings, Sandy Bourbon, Violet Bourbon, Pete Bourbon, David Dobbs, Donna Kay Payne, Bernice Logan and Edward Dobbs.

Bobby loved to go junking with his brother, David Skaggs and nephew, Donnie Skaggs II. He loved going in the woods to cut wood in order to help families. If it was quiet, he would come up with funny jokes just to hear you laugh and cheer everybody up. He would help everyone that he could—he was truly loved and will be missed.
