Susan Raenee Fischer nee Littrell of Richwoods departed this life at her home, on January 9, 2022, having reached the age of forty-seven years, eleven months and four days. Susan was born in St. Louis on February 5, 1974, daughter of Grover Monroe Littrell and Mona Lee Littrell nee Moore.

As a young woman she was united in marriage and blessed to have two children. On June 4, 2011 she was united in marriage to John Richard Fischer and he loved her children as his own.
Susan is survived by her husband, John Fischer of Richwoods; her children, John Owens of Richwoods and Monica Owens and fiancé, Spencer Gibson, of Richwoods; her grandson, Bentlee Gibson of Richwoods; her parents-in-law, William and Nancy Burt of St. Clair; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Mona Littrell; and by her brother, James Littrell, known to all as Jimmy.
Susan was a Christian of the Baptist faith and member of First Baptist Church in Richwoods. During her working career she was previously employed by Walmart as a cashier and stocker for about two years and most recently by Fastlane in St. Clair for about seventeen years as an assistant manager. Susan loved animals, especially her pet dogs, and enjoyed tending to her chickens. She also loved to shop yard sales, auctions and resale shops and enjoyed playing scratch off lottery tickets and bingo. What meant most to her was time spent with her family and her grandson brought her special joy. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will forever be cherished by them all.
A kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and treasured friend, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held at 10 A.M. on Friday, January 14th at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair with Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Interment was in Prospect Cemetery in Lonedell. Memorials may be made to the family.
