Washington County Shop With A Cop Thursday, Dec. 16th

Shop with a Cop helped over a hundred youngsters from around the County when the officers took the kids shopping for Christmas on Thursday, Dec. 16th at the local Walmart.

All those involved were happy to be able to be together again and shop with the kids and visit with the families.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Potosi Police Department both expressed their appreciation to the community for supporting their annual fundraisers and the Cops For Kids program. The officers and staff enjoyed the children this year and where happy to be of support.
The purpose of the event to foster a positive relationship between our youth and our officers. Local youngsters are selected each year to shop at a local store each year for Christmas for their immediate families.
