Potosi Elks Hoop Shoot Sun., Jan. 16th At P.H.S.

The Annual Elks Hoop Shoot competition is on for 2022! Youngsters between the ages of 8 years old and 13 years old are welcome to participate in the free throw contest.

The Potosi Elks Lodge #2218 will host their shooting competition on Sunday, January 16th, 2022. The competition will begin at 3:30 p.m. and is being held in the Potosi High School gymnasium.

There are six divisions of shooting competition:

Ages 8 & 9 - Boys; Girls

Ages 10 & 11 - Boys; Girls

Ages 12 & 13 - Boys; Girls

The ages are as of April 1st, 2022 for the youth.

The girls shoot with a 28 1/2” basketball and the boys also will use a 28 1/2” ball for the 8 & 9 and the 10 & 11 age groups.

The competition is open to all area youth. The Potosi Elks Lodge is happy to be the host for the Elks competition and winners will advance to the next round, a District competition.
