Willis Walter Penrose of Farmington, Missouri, was born on December 23, 1956, a son of the late Willis Benton Penrose and the late Betty Jane (Politte) Penrose. Willis passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, having reached the age of sixty-four years, eleven months, and twenty-nine days.
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his children: Willie B. Penrose, Thomas E. Penrose (wife, Allison), Donald Penrose (wife, Mary), and Cecelia Penrose; grandchildren: Freddie Penrose, Brexley Penrose, Aubree Penrose, Abigail Penrose, Landon Fortner, and Deven Hindbaugh; siblings: Shirley Penrose, DeWayne Penrose (wife, Cheryl), William Penrose, Virgil Penrose (wife, Liz), and Kathy Barton; special aunt, Kathy Politte; special niece, Tina Hindbaugh; best friend, Steven Reichenbacher. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Willis was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Click) Penrose on January 7, 2021; sister, Linda Reed; and nephew, William Penrose II.
A Visitation was held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 9 to 11 am at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664.
A Graveside Service was held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Redbud Memorial Gardens, Hwy 8 west, Potosi, MO, at 11:15 AM with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating.
DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have ministered to the family and friends of Mr. Willis Penrose.
