Erma Hudson

Erma Idell Hudson of Desloge, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at her home having reached the age of 86 years, 4 months, and 14 days. Erma was born on July 25, 1935 in Belgrade, Missouri, a daughter of the late Hurst and Ethel (Jenkins) Nipper.

On August 25, 1987, Erma was united in marriage to Lawrence "Larry" Hudson and they shared nearly twenty three years together.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her four children: Joe Boyer (wife, Celeste), Gary Boyer (wife, Linda), Jim Boyer (wife, Deana), and Rob Boyer (wife, Yvette); eight grandchildren: Angie, Matthew, Kimberly, Joseph, Joshua, Sarah, Chase, and Tristin; 17 great grandchildren; four siblings: Clyde Nipper, Jim Nipper (wife, Melba), Cyril Nipper (wife, Bonnie), and Delores Akers (husband, Lawrence). Erma also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her father and mother, Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Hudson on August 8, 2010; daughter, Roxanne Waller; two siblings: Burnell Nipper and George Nipper; two sisters-in-law: Edith Nipper and Margaret Nipper.

A Visitation was held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. A time of visitation continued on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 9-11 am.

A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11 am at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Jenkins Cemetery in Belgrade, MO.
