WASHINGTON COUNTY CHAMBER SUPPORTS PARK PROJECTS

WASHINGTON COUNTY CHAMBER SUPPORTS PARK PROJECTS – Chamber Executive Director Jula Bayless presented a $2500 Check to Washington County Clerk Jenny Allen in support of the Towne Square Park Project that is underway at the corner of High Street and North Missouri. The project includes an amphitheater, playground, stage with water wall and many other amenities. The Project was announced earlier this year and many have joined the donor list in supporting the endeavor. The public has made numerous donations through ‘Brick’ sponsorships as well as featured assets like lights, benches, tables, etc. In the second photo, Director Bayless presented a $2500 Check to Mayor Joe Blount in support of the all inclusive playground and development that is underway at the Potosi City Park. The City has been awarded a grant for part of the playground installation as well as a new pavilion and fully accessible restrooms. The project is being developed and will be seeking bids for equipment, installation etc. at the first of 2022. The playground will be located at the East edge of the paved parking area in the City Park.
