TROJAN INTERMEDIATE TEACHER HONORED

Ms. Regina Moyers, 6th grade teacher at Trojan Intermediate School, was honored at the 2022 Missouri Teacher of the Year Awards Banquet on Tuesday, Oct. 19th, 2021 in Jefferson City as Regional Teacher of the Year for South Central Missouri. State Representative Mike McGirl personally congratulated Ms. Moyers with a State of Missouri Resolution. Ms. Moyers was one of only two teachers selected from the South Central Region of Missouri as a State Finalist. Regina attended the banquet and awards ceremony at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City where Governor Mike Parson spoke, thanking educators in the room for their extraordinary efforts in education over the past year. Moyers, a veteran teacher in the Potosi R-3 School District, is well deserved of this honor for her dedication and talents teaching 6th grade mathematics.
