Lowell Bay, Jr.

Lowell Eldred Bay, Jr., known by family and friends as “Terry”, was born February 25, 1945 in Ironton, a son to the late Marion Alberta (Williamson) Bay and Lowell Bay, Sr. Terry departed this life Sunday, October 3, 2021 having reached the age of 76 years, 7 months and 8 days. Terry is survived by his sister, Pat Johnson and husband Dean of Caledonia; nephew, Bryce Wilson, Sr. and wife Bridgett; niece, Monica McClain of Caledonia; in addition to many great nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear and special friends.
Terry served in the United States Army from 1966-1968. During his time in the military, he was awarded the Purple Heart, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 1 Bronze Star and Sharpshooter Badge. He loved his family and cherished his time with his friends and family. His memory will be cherished by those who loved him.
Visitation for Terry was held Tuesday, October 5th from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 5th at 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Hogan officiating. Burial and final prayers took place at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Bryce Wilson Sr., Bryce Wilson Jr., Bradley Wilson, Quinton Dicus, Dylan Wilson and Wanda Dicus.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
