WARMING CENTER SET UP AT SOUTHERN

At the end of the week last week, a ‘Warming Center’ was established in the community room at Potosi Southern Baptist Church. Potosi First Baptist assembled hot meals for those individuals staying at the Center. The project was put together with the Ministerial Alliance, member churches, the 911 Center, East Missouri Action Agency, Potosi Southern and several donations from around the community from businesses, individuals and civic organizations. The shelters used for emergencies worked well to give those staying some privacy while being conveniently set up in the church gymnasium. The center was set up until Tuesday, this week.
