September 08, 2021

The Superintendent of Kingston K-14 released a letter on Friday, Sept. 3rd, 2021 informing students, parents and public of the intent to go back to facial coverings while in the school setting.

The Superintendent sited quarantine numbers of 138 close contact by Friday, Sept. 3rd. Wallace went on in the letter, “currently a total of 18 positive cases among students and 1 among staff.”

The mask mandate took effect Tuesday, Sept. 7th, 2021 when school resumed from Labor Day break.

The letter says that District officials will continue to monitor the daily data and release it to the public. The hope is to get back to a controlled situation and be able to not have to worry about the contact situations.
