Village of Caledonia Receives State Proclamation

For their support and sponsorship of the regional Highways of History Project, the Village Board of Caledonia received a proclamation from members of the Missouri House of Representatives, presented by Highways of History Coordinator Mrs. Nancy Cozean-Jacobs of Farmington; along with her Mrs. Phyllis MacaLady of Ironton. 

The Proclamation is part of the regional Missouri Bicentennial Celebration for the state and recognizes the Trail of Tears and Planked Road. Caledonia was recognized for their financial support and to Mayor John Robinson, III for serving as the regional Treasurer for the Highways of History group.

The Chief Clerk of the Missouri House of Representatives had the following sign the official Proclamation: House Representatives Dale Wright, Mike Henderson, Chris Dinkins, Mike McGirl and Rick Francis adopted  August 25, 2021 by House Resolution No. 6670.

The presentation was made at the Village Board regular on Monday, August 16, 2021 meeting.
