Dale Jackson

Dale Edward Jackson of Potosi was born July 26, 1947 in Springfield, a son to the late Lucille (Cheek) Jackson and Lewis Edward Jackson. Dale departed this life Thursday, June 10, 2021 having reached the age of 73 years, 10 months and 15 days.

Dale is survived by his son, Lee Jackson of Potosi; step son, Gordon Litton II of Rockford, Illinois; daughter, Luci Martin and husband Clayton of Bonne Terre; step daughter, Brook Dickinson and husband Lloyd of Cadet; sister, Judy Gillam and husband Danny of Potosi; special aunt, Annette Saxton of Columbia; eight grandchildren, Olivia, Talan, Sophia, Dane, Lynae, Marla, Ryan, Alicia; nieces and nephews, Lisa, Jana, Rickey, Joe, Sara and many other relatives and dear and special friends. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by a step son, Aaron Boyer.

Dale was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a member of the Potosi Elks Lodge #2218 for over 45 years. He loved to travel and see new places. He loved his grandchildren and cheered them on in all that they did. He had a loving and giving heart and his memory will be cherished by all who loved him.
Visitation for Dale was held Sunday, June 13th from 1 to 6 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 13th at 6 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home.

Burial and final prayers with a graveside service was held Monday, June 14th at the Lindley-Prairie Cemetery in Bearcreek, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were Lee Jackson, Joe Gillam, Jason West, Mike Cheek, Pat Cheek and Randy Heimsoth.

All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
