Potosi Elementary Schedules Kindergarten Registration & Screening

The R-3 School District has set the Kindergarten registration and screening for the 2021-22 school year.

Students beginning school in Kindergarten will need to register and meet with school staff on Monday, August 2nd or Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021. The new student is invited to visit Potosi Elementary School on Highway P at the South edge of the City of Potosi to get started on their educational career with R-3.

On Monday, August 2nd, the Cafeteria doors will be open for registration in the school from 12 noon to 5:45 p.m.

On Tuesday, August 3rd, the time is from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. again at the Cafeteria door entrance, please.

Parent or guardian should bring the child’s state issued Birth Certificate; Social Security card; up to date immunization records; proof of residency and an ink pen for paper work.

The Potosi Elementary School asks for only one parent or guardian to attend and no additional siblings please.

Appointments are being scheduled now by calling the Potosi Elementary School at 438-2223.

The school staff asks everyone to please arrive a few minutes prior to your appointment time for everyone’s convenience and efficiency.
