Hollingsworth & Vose Company and Midwest Textiles Reach Agreement to Produce and Distribute Embroidery Materials and Industrial Specialties

East Walpole, MA – Last Summer, Hollingsworth and Vose Company and Midwest Textiles established a Master Distribution Agreement to support the long-term growth of Embroidery Materials and other Specialty Products. Under the agreement, H&V supplies Midwest with the leading materials in the industry, and Midwest uses their specialty converting and nationwide distribution network to reach this complex and growing market.

Josh Ayer, Division President of H&V’s Engine and Industrial business, said, “This agreement will enable H&V to focus on our core strengths of developing and manufacturing the most advanced materials, while utilizing Midwest’s proven distribution expertise to provide the service and reach we need to grow sustainably for the foreseeable future. We believe that combining the strengths of our two companies will create value for customers and give us a competitive edge in this growing market.”

Larry Pratte, President of Midwest Textiles, said, “This agreement with H&V gives Midwest Textiles the scale to compete effectively anywhere in the country while maintaining and improving the individualized service that has made us what we are today. This agreement compliments our recent investments in converting and distribution and ensures a secure supply of the best materials in the business as we plan our growth for a new generation.”

This broad-based distribution agreement follows a joint effort by the two companies earlier last year to sell ready-to-sew face mask kits to the general public that include Midwest’s Fabric and H&V’s filtration media. This agreement establishes an ongoing distribution platform that could eventually support expansion into additional products and markets.
