Change of Opponent For October 9th, 2020 Football Game

The Potosi High School Varsity Football Trojans were planning to welcome St. Charles West to 'Trojan Field' on Friday, Oct. 9th, 2020. The notice was given by P.H.S. Athletic Director Coach McCoy that St. Charles West had cancelled as of Monday, Oct. 5th.

The search was on for an opponent, and by Tuesday morning, Coach McCoy said we're playing Sikeston at home.

In this season of uncertainty, losing an opponent may not be a surprise. Teams have been scrambling, not only on the field but off, to make sure they've got someone to play.

The Trojans will take the field on Friday, Oct. 9th with a welcome opponent, and a chance to play.

Game time is at 7 p.m. and the location is 'Trojan Field', behind John Evans Middle School in Potosil.
