Rita Ann Fields

On the morning of January 12, 2021 Rita Ann Fields passed away at home from complications due to congestive heart failure. Rita was born on May 22, 1935, the youngest of 4 children born to Marvin and Mary Boyer. Their family lived in Potosi for most of her childhood. She married her first husband, Jack Christian, and they moved to San Diego, CA. in 1959 and lived in the North Clairemont community where they raised their 4 children, Debbie(Bill), Pattie, Jack(Peggy) and Valerie. She also had 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and married her second husband Don Fields in 1982.

Rita was an outgoing person who loved to meet new people and add them to her long list of lifetime friends.

She enjoyed watching sports, square dancing, traveling, church, playing games and cards and most of all spending time with family and friends.

She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
