Amanda Hagedorn

Amanda Lou (Pitts) Hagedorn of DeSoto was born February 2, 1931, in Montgomery City, a daughter to the late Ira M. Pitts and Daisy (Harrison) Pitts. Amanda departed this life Tuesday, June 21, 2022 having reached the age of 91 years, 4 months and 19 days.
On August 19, 1950, Amanda was united in marriage to the late Burnace Hagedorn and they were blessed with five children and 51 years together. Burance preceded Amanda in death on May 28, 2002.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie Sansoucie and husband Ervin of DeSoto, Donna Brod and husband William of DeSoto; sons, Norman Hagedorn and wife Cheryl of Union, Gregory Hagedorn of Festus, Douglas Hagedorn and wife Teresa of DeSoto; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren other relatives, and friends.
Amanda had a smile and personality that could light up a room. She was a master with a needle and thread and made many warm quilts for her friends and family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Her memory will be treasured in the hearts of those who loved her.
Visitation for Amanda was held Friday, June 24th from 3 to 7 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 24th at 7 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home.

A graveside service was held Saturday, June 25th at 11 A.M. at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Big Springs.

All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
