Wanda Jean (Hedrick) Cooper of Potosi was born July 25, 1961 in Rolla, a daughter to the late Willard Hedrick and Helen (DeClue) Hedrick. Wanda departed this life Monday, June 20, 2022 having reached the age of 60 years, 10 months and 26 days.
Wanda is survived by her husband, John Cooper of Potosi; son, Kenny Hedrick of Potosi; daughters, Helen Lawson of Potosi, Tasha Cooper of Potosi; sisters, Donna Potter and husband Glen of Cadet, Mary Bourbon and husband Paul of Cadet, Shirley Jones of Bonne Terre, Nancy “Cricket” Davis and Brian Shaw of St. Louis; brothers, Willard Hedrick of Bonne Terre, Perry Hedrick and wife Laura of Park Hills; 11 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her sisters, Debbie Lawson and Phyllis Williams.
Wanda was blessed with many gifts and talents. She was a master quilter and could make anything she set her mind to. She also made crafts and gifted them to her friends and family. She worked at Walmart for many years and always greeted customers with a smile. Her love and kindness will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Visitation for Wanda was held Friday, June 24th from 9 to 11 A.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
