Andrew Brewer

Andrew Joseph Brewer of Potosi was born July 22, 1992 in Rolla, a son to Joseph Phillip Portell and Linda Louise Brewer. Andrew departed this life Tuesday, January 11, 2022, having reached the age of 29 years, 5 months, and 20 days.
Andrew is survived by his loving parents, Joseph, and Linda of Potosi; sisters, Abigail Brewer of Potosi, Olivia Thurmond, and husband Andrew of Potosi; brother, Adam Brewer of Potosi; grandfather, Jerry Portell and wife Dorothy of Davisville and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear and special friends, who will miss him.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandfather, Orval Brewer and grandmothers, Odelia Portell and Connie Sue Brewer.
Andrew lived life to its fullest and never let anything get in his way. No matter what happened he always looked on the bright side. He was a talented athlete and played football in high school. He loved the outdoors and always made time to go fishing and hunting with his friends and family. He had a kind and caring heart and always expressed his love to those close to him. He believed everyone should be kind because we all fight different battles. He touched many lives with his strong will and loving heart. His memory will be a treasure to those who loved him.
Visitation for Andrew was held Friday January 14th from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 14th at 1 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi with Pastor Jim Ainley officiating. Burial and final prayers took place at St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Corey Whitley, Cody Whitley, Alex Aden, Jerry Dale Portell, Garth Rogers and Kevin Bach.
All services were under the care of direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
