Loretta Felix

Loretta Jean Felix of Waynesville was born July 20, 1932 in Leadwood, a daughter to the late Veldon Cecil Newcomb and Helen (McFarland) Newcomb. Loretta departed this life Monday, January 3, 2022 having reached the age of 89 years, 5 months and 14 days.
On June 22, 1957, Loretta was united in marriage to the late Woodrow Felix and they shared many wonderful memories together.
Loretta is survived by her cousin, Janet Doss of Waynesville and by other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Woodrow Felix, and brother, Harold Newcomb.
Loretta worked for 37 years as an administrative assistant to the Department of the Army. She always saw the bright side of things and never let anything get her down. She was a member of numerous bowling leagues and the business professionals club in Waynesville. She loved to knit, bake and cook big meals for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
A graveside service for Loretta was held Monday, January 10, 2022 at Big River Cemetery in Irondale.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
