Jeremy Winick

Jeremy Wayne Winick, known by friends and family as “Froggy”, was born January 17, 1982 in Gravette, Arkansas, a son to Dale Winick, Sr. and Janice (Waeltz) Winick. Froggy departed this life Sunday, September 5, 2021 having reached the age of 39 years, 7 months and 19 days.

On April 21, 2007, Froggy was united in marriage to Candice Sue (Akers) Winick and they were blessed with fourteen wonderful years together.

Froggy is survived by his loving wife Candice “Kandy”; parents, Janice and Dale Winick Sr. of Hopewell; daughter, Whitney Winick of Cadet; sons, Matthew Winick of Cadet, Bentley Winick of Cadet; sisters, Tina Bulger and husband Steve of Cadet, Adale Winick of Potosi, Teresa Smith and husband Dennis of Potosi, Rosemary Marler and husband Steven of Potosi; brother, Dale Winick Jr. and wife Chrystal of Potosi; in-laws Patricia and Edward Akers of Potosi and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Froggy was preceded in death by his twin daughters, Tapanga and Loralie Winick-Akers; aunts and uncles, Marie Harr, David and Nina Waeltz, Earl Waeltz; grandmothers, Dorothy Albert, Maxine Winick and grandfather, Albert Winick.

Froggy loved the outdoors and the sounds of nature brought him great peace. He was a member of the Washington County Coon and Rabbit Club. His children and family were his pride and joy. He loved teaching his children how to hunt and fish and he cherished that special time with them. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. His memory will be cherished forever by those who continue to love him.
Visitation for Froggy was held Saturday, September 11th from 10 A.M.-2 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 11th at 2 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Wade officiating.

Burial and final prayers took place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Potosi. Serving as pallbearers were Steve Bulger, Kevin Smith, Randall “R.J.” Richards, Dale Winick, Jr., Josh Waeltz, Mathew Bulger, Steven Marler, Daniel Smith and Mark Smith.

All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi.
